Warranty
Every cartridge we sell carries a quality guarantee, whether it is an original or a generic.
Consumables
Toner cartridges, ink cartridges, drums and duplicator supplies are guaranteed to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for six months from delivery, or until the cartridge’s rated page yield is reached, whichever comes first, as provided for by the Consumer Protection Act.
Generic and premium generic cartridges
Using a compatible cartridge does not void your printer’s warranty. If a compatible cartridge we supplied is proven to have caused damage to your printer, we will cover the reasonable cost of the repair.
Machines
Photocopiers and duplicators carry the warranty stated on the product page or quotation.
What is not covered
- Cartridges that have been refilled, modified or physically damaged after delivery.
- Faults caused by the printer itself, incorrect installation or storage in heat or direct sunlight.
- Normal fading of print quality as a cartridge reaches the end of its yield.
Making a claim
Contact us on 074 580 0652 or info@x-trinix.co.za with your order number, your printer model and a sample print that shows the problem. We will assess it and let you know the outcome within 5 working days of receiving the item.
